We are often asked what flowers are appropriate to send on these sad occasions. The answer is every flower, when tastefully arranged, is appropriate for expressing condolences. Designs that are going to a memorial or funeral service usually have larger flowers to create dramatic tributes. These might include , snapdragons, lilies, standard chrysanthemums, carnations, roses and an entire suite of natives. Remember, you are expressing your feelings, so whatever the flower evokes in you is what matters.
IMPORTANT: When ordering flowers for the funeral, it is important to check which provider is conducting the services as flowers for the ceremony will need to be delivered a day in advance to the service provider. It will also save a heap of confusion as the provider will take the flowers to the ceremony site. We do not deliver to the funeral, church service or cemetery. WA Florists does NOT charge a premium to deliver to Funeral Service Providers. We currently deliver to all funeral providers in the areas we service.
